The founder of CVN PICTURES, C.V. Navin is an Indian-American filmmaker based in St. Louis, Missouri. He has worked as a Director, Assistant Director, Assistant Cameraman, Script Supervisor and in several other film crew positions.
Navin also contributes his passion for filmmaking to help non-profit organizations. He has created visual and audio content for his home church which congregates at the 'Tivoli', a famous landmark movie theater located in the heart of Delmar Loop in St. Louis. Navin's filmmaking aspirations extend beyond the camera well into the root of every project, i.e. screenwriting. He has written and workshopped several screenplays, both short and feature length formats. He won the award for 'Best Short Screenplay' category for his screenplay titled "The 'Late' Love" at the 2024 Freedom International Film Festival. Navin is also involved in multiple St. Louis based screenwriting groups and provides insights and constructive inputs to fellow screenwriters to develop their scripts.
